Congrats to Graduating Class

This May, seven students graduated from the studio. They all made meaningful contributions to the musical life of UGA and we wish them luck on the next part of their journey! Masters degrees were awarded to Charlie Goodman, Grayson Holland, Ryles Kjellsen and Brenden McQuay. Undergrad degrees were awarded to Gary Garvin and Naomi Miller. Rachel Stroud leaves the studio to begin her students teaching assignment.

Avila Named Presser Scholar

Alex Avila, a rising senior euphonium student, was named UGA's Presser Scholar for next year. This is the most prestigious honor that can be bestowed upon an undergraduate student and recognizes Alex's accomplishment in the classroom and onstage.
